Termpest Inspection Services was founded in 1987 by Mike Chrzan. Under his careful guidance this family owned and operated pest control company has been providing honest and reliable pest control to businesses and residents of South Florida’s Dade and Broward county for nearly 40 years!

Mike started out working as a pest control field technician for a large provider. He became very disturbed by the number of scams present in the pest control industry. Over the years he exposed many of these practices publicly and became rather infamous for outing these underhanded tactics. Often writing about them and sharing these revelations with the public.

His outspokenness on this subject earned him the ire of many in the industry and while he could not stop others or change the way they did business, rather than compromise his principles, Mike decided he would instead start his own company, vowing to provide a no nonsense, honest and straightforward approach to pest control and so Termpest was born!

In early 2024 Mike passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Any of you who knew him also know the type of man he was, to us he may have been Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother, Teacher or Friend… but to have this sentiment echoed by so many of his customers has been overwhelming and humbling to say the least. His presence has been missed deeply, not only by his family, but by the customers he loved and appreciated so much.

Termpest has been passed down to his eldest to become a 2nd Generation, Family owned, Family operated company, as members of his family and stewards of the company Mike entrusted to us, we intend to honor him in the best way we know how. By continuing to operate Termpest just as we believe he would have wanted, with honesty, integrity and a healthy dose of common sense. As Mike would say…”The rest is in God’s hands”.
